MDPI Aerospace awarded SZTAKI Systems and Control Lab researcher Tamás Luspay’s publication with its Best Paper Award for 2019. Structured Control Design for a Highly Flexible Flutter Demonstrator was co-written by Luspay, DLR (Deutsches Zentrum für Luft- und Raumfahrt) engineer Manuel Pusch and Munich University of Applied Sciences professor Daniel Ossmann.

The paper details the functions of the team’s model-based flight control system, developed for the flexible winged test plane, build under the H2020 FLEXOP project.
