A successful scientific symposium was held at ARNL, where the results achieved so far by ARNL researchers and research groups in the application areas and research topics researched by the national laboratory were presented.

The symposium also provided an opportunity to formulate further plans, identify and articulate promising professional linkages and explore further professional synergies between consortium members. During the breaks in the programme, useful informal professional discussions took place, promising project ideas were formulated and topics for scientific articles were outlined.
