Flexible wings and the future of aviation - aviatic research at SZTAKI

Bálint Vanek, PhD , lead researcher at the National Laboratory of Autonomous Systems (NLAS), deputy head of the SZTAKI Systems and Control Research Laboratory, head of the Aerospace Guidance, Navigation and Control Group, presented at the INCOM 2021 virtual event what his group deals with and how to revolutionize the future of aviation with flexible wings.

Flying isn’t only becoming more sustainable by this, but both current and future airplanes may profit of these projects by turning more economical – this, and the path leading up to it is the main topic of Bálint Vanek’s video. He talks about the devices essential to development such technologies, the procedures and the was of coordinated work with the main device sometimes being several hundred kilometers away from SZTAKI.
