The scientific cooperation project ‒ within the framework of the grant 2019-2.1.11-TÉT-2020-00125 ‒ concluded with open presentations given by researcher from the Sveučilište u Zagrebu (University of Zagreb) and HUN-REN SZTAKI. The programme included three lectures (in English): two lectures by the Croatian project partner, and one by the Hungarian project partner.
First, Prof. Joško Deur, Professor at the University of Zagreb (UoZ), presented his results in a lecture entitled "Energy-efficient Straight-Line Driving Torque Vectoring for Electric Vehicles with Multiple Motors and Disconnect Clutches".
The second presenter was Dr. Branimir Škugor, Associate Professor at the UoZ. In his presentation entitled "Modeling and Optimal Control for Autonomous Vehicle Approaching Unsignalized Crosswalks with Pedestrians", he examined the safety issues of pedestrian crosswalks in relation to autonomous vehicles.
While in the third presentation, Dr. Balázs Németh, Senior Researcher at ARNL, presented his results. The title of his talk was "Applications on hierarchical control for in the framework of bilateral cooperation".
All three speakers were happy to answer questions from the audience of researchers and university students.
