Pupils from the Gyertyánffy István School of ELTE visited SZTAKI

Pupils of class 6A viewed the scientific demonstrations of the national laboratories coordinated by SZTAKI, i.e., the Autonomous Systems National Laboratory (ARNL) and the Artificial Intelligence National Laboratory.

The several hour visit on 9 December 2022 started in the Lágymányos Street building of SZTAKI. The pupils visited also the Innovation and Demonstration Space in the mentioned building. They had the opportunity to try out SZTAKI’s drawing robot, learn about the institute’s virtual reality developments, and about ageing clocks that rely on artificial intelligence. They saw how autonomous vehicles can be controlled.

The interactive demonstrations were followed by a tour of the “From the Past to the Future” exhibition in the lobby of the building. Sándor Manno, Development Eengineer, gave the pupils a guided tour.
