On 13 September 2024, Csanád Gyula Budai and Tamás Széles, researchers of the Systems and Control Laboratory at HUN-REN SZTAKI, talked about their small-scale autonomous racing car in the Trend Idők (Trend Times) programme of Kossuth Radio.

Among the teams participating in the ICRA 2024 competition, which was described in more detail in the news article here , the researchers of HUN-REN SZTAKI were the only ones to develop a vehicle, that used reinforcement learning, which means that the algorithm learned to drive the car autonomously, by learning from its own experiences and mistakes.
