SZTAKI's R&D project proposal entitled ’Research on Hydrogen-Powered, Cooperative, Unmanned Remote Sensing Devices and Related Data Processing Framework’ has gained financial support from the Thematic Program of Excellence that was launched by the National Research, Development and Innovation Office.
The aim of this research is to develop a framework for recording and change detection in conjunction with industrially relevant remote sensing tasks. The systems and methods targetted in this research will be raised to a higher level of technological maturity, which makes it possible for us to launch these systems and methods on the market. In the first half of the project, we intend to continue our research on methods while also taking into account the requirements associated with the security tasks that are to be specified by relevant market participants within Hungary, such as the MVM Group, the MOL Group, the Special Service for National Security, the Automotive Proving Ground Zalaegerszeg (ZalaZONE), General Directorate of Water Management. Having learnt from the pitfalls of applying theoretical results in practice from earlier R&D projects, and building upon our R&D experience, we intend to focus and fine-tune our goals so that these reflect real needs and real conditions.
We plan to define and study two case studies. The first of these will addess real-time sensor data processing and long-term autonomous discovery, while the second one will focus on the operation of different sensor-bearing platforms and different information sources.
