Tamás Hegedűs successfully defended his PhD thesis at the Budapest University of Technology and Economics. His viva took place on 31 January 2023. His scientific advisor was Balázs Németh.
Pupils of class 6A viewed the scientific demonstrations of the national laboratories coordinated by SZTAKI, i.e., the Autonomous Systems National Laboratory (ARNL) and the Artificial Intelligence National Laboratory.
On 29 November 2022, a high-level delegation from the University of Transport and Communications (UTC) of Vietnam visited SZTAKI. The delegation was led by Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Long, President of the aforementioned University.
In the SZTAKI’s Innovation and Demonstration Space (IDT) László György, State Secretary at the Ministry of Culture and Innovation, viewed the scientific demos of ARNL, MILAB and SZTAKI researchers.
A conference on the ’Safety and Security Related Applications of UAVs in the Home Affairs Sector" was held in the Marble Hall in the Ministry for Home Affairs. The conference was part of the Hungarian Science Day programme. The patron of the event was Sándor Pintér, Minister of Home Affairs.
András Mihály, research associate at the SZTAKI Systems and Control Theory Research Laboratory, who is also actively involved in ARNL research activities, defended his PhD thesis with a prime result.
