Associate Professor at the Faculty of Informatics of the János Neumann University of Óbuda, Deputy Director of the Institute of Cyberphysical Systems.

Member of the Public Body of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences, member of the Informatics Scientific Committee and the János Neumann Computer Science Society.

He completed his MSc and PhD studies at BME in the field of electrical engineering and computer science, and as a visiting researcher at the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science at Emory University. He obtained his habilitation in 2017 in the field of information technology.

Since 1998, his research has focused primarily on the industrial and academic application technologies and methods of distributed IT infrastructures, e.g. meteorology, bioinformatics, agriculture, connected cars and Industry 4.0 - in particular Big Data / IoT, artificial intelligence and advanced cloud computing platforms.
