With the Autonomous Systems National Laboratory (ARNL) as a professional Sponsor, the 2nd Reformula Innovation Challenge for Students – organized by the Mission for Engineers Foundation – will take place on 5th of March, 2022 at the Budapest University of Technology and Economics.
The competition is organized for teams formed by secondary school students and for teams formed by university students. The teams will match their knowledge, skills and design abilities in topics related to autonomous systems. The competition will also have a religious aspect, and the teams’ knowledge in this respect will be also tested.
Two tasks have been already handed out to the competing teams. The first task is to choreograph a “Dance of (virtual) Drones” to a specified music piece. The second task is to create an algorithm for small (virtual) self-driving model racing-cars. These algorithms will compete in the frame of a virtual competition. At the competition site, the competition can be followed with VR-tools. The competition prizes, on the other hand, will be real and will be awarded to the winner teams after competition.
