On 25 and 26 January 2024, the 12th International Conference on Mechatronics and Control Engineering (ICMCE) was held at HUN-REN SZTAKI. ARNL was actively involved in the organisation of the conference.
The ICMCE conference series serves as a major scientific forum for researchers and scientists from different disciplines. It is a forum where participants can learn about cutting-edge research in the various subfields of mechatronics and control engineering, they can share their results, and discuss their own and other participants' scientific thoughts and research ideas. Prof. József Bokor, Scientific Director of HUN-REN SZTAKI, was the member of the conference advisory board, while the co-chair of the conference programme committee was Prof. Péter Gáspár, ARNL's Technical Director.
On the first day of the conference, participants could see demonstration related to the latest research of the host institute and ARNL in the Innovation and Demonstration Space of the institute.
The opening lecture of the conference was given by Prof. Olivier Sename, Professor at the University of Grenoble (Grenoble INP) on the second day of the conference. After the keynote lectures, the full-day programme offered participants the opportunity to listen to presentations ‒ organized into parallel sessions ‒ on a variety of topics of the field.
