A delegation from the South Korean Ministry of Science and ICT arrived at the Institute on December 3, 2021, to attend presentations on the operations and objectives of SZTAKI and the programs and developments of the national laboratories led by SZTAKI.
The day-long programme started with an introductory presentation by László Monostori, Director of SZTAKI, followed by a national laboratory-focused demonstration by András Benczúr, Scientific Director of Artificial Intelligence National Laboratory (MILAB). The delegation then toured the laboratories' demonstrations in the SZTAKI building.
Machine assembly, digital twins, holography and autonomous systems were discussed, and members of the delegation were even able to try out some of the solutions. The event was closed by a presentation by Péter Gáspár, Head of National Laboratory for Autonomous Systems (NLAS).
