During their visit to HUN-REN SZTAKI and ARNL, the students had the opportunity to gain insight into intelligent manufacturing processes and the intelligent tools and robots used in these processes. In the SmartFactory laboratory of HUN-REN SZTAKI, Géza Haidegger, Senior Research Fellow, welcomed and guided the guests. He talked about intelligent manufacturing systems and then gave a detailed presentation of the laboratory. The visit to the SmartFactory fitted in well with the students' university course entitled "Foundations of Industry 4.0".
Afterwards, the guests went to the IDT, where they were shown a demo of the control and coordinated movement of indoor, small-scale intelligent vehicle models. The presenters of the demo were happy to answer the questions of the guests.
