The three-day INCOM 2021 international conference was a success

The topic of the INCOM 2021 conference, organized by SZTAKI and the Centre of Excellence in Production Informatics and Control (EPIC CoE) on 7-9 June 2021, was Information control in the cyber-physical enterprise: technological breakthrough vs. cultural revolution

Nearly two hundred of the approximately three hundred submitted publications were accepted by the organizers, and these studies were presented during the three days of INCOM 2021. The opening ceremony was watched live by more than a hundred.

In addition to the plenary presentations, participants discussed current issues of their research fields in the topics of advanced manufacturing, robotics, artificial intelligence, simulation, production, and future technologies in five virtual rooms.

Plenary speeches:

  • June 7, 2021: Prof. François B. Vernadat on integration and interoperability of automated and intelligent systems
  • June 8, 2021: Prof.r Jürgen Beyerer on production process optimization using artificial intelligence and machine learning
  • June 9, 2021: Prof. Soundar Kumara on the role of artificial intelligence and machine learning in manufacturing

The Young Author's Award was handed over at the closing ceremony.

During the INCOM 2021 events, the participants could see a total of 50 presentations. The presentations watched during the live streams totaled 62,879 minutes.
