A university test car at the ZalaZONE Proving Ground (Hungary) was driven from Los Angeles (CA, USA)

The safety of the university test car – teleoperated from the other side of the world – and the safety of its passengers was guaranteed by the environment perception algorithms developed at the ARNL.

At the ITS World Congress conference and exhibition held in Los Angeles last year, ARNL researchers demonstrated their camera-LIDAR sensor fusion-based environment perception and object detection algorithms in a live teleoperation.
