Young European experts in data-driven system modelling met on 23-24 May 2024 at HUN-REN SZTAKI to review and discuss the prevailing scientific trends in the field of system identification and machine learning.
The aim of this annual symposium is to review and evaluate the latest research results in data-driven model learning. The main organizer of this year's symposium was Roland Tóth, Senior Researcher of the ARNL.
The previous symposia and also this year's symposium provided strong motivation and scientific impetus to address challenging issues of the field and to develop new modelling technologies. This year's event attracted researchers from the Netherlands, Belgium, Italy and Sweden. Participants enjoyed a productive two-day symposium with inspiring discussions, and got acquitted with new research topics, approaches and ideas. Last but not least, they returned home with promising prospects for scientific cooperation.
