The central theme of our autonomous robotics research is human-centered production automation, especially the creation of the technological and IT bases for human-robot collaboration. Here, with sensor technologies and digital twin model applications, we enable real-time tracking of processes, event detection and forecasting.
In the field of autonomous internal logistics, the research task is the dynamic operation of the entire fleet of autonomous vehicles (AGV), the coordination of individual decisions, which results the smooth operation of the production system.
The digital twin model of the system of people, machines and their environment plays a key role in solving autonomous robotics and logistics tasks. In our case, a digital twin model is a heterogeneous representation of an active manufacturing and logistics system that incorporates its distinguished characteristics, properties, states, and behavioral norms and its entire life cycle in the form of models, information and data.
